good morning dear 13 happy Wednesday it is the last Wednesday of the school year and I hope you have a wonderful day I just want to run Friday is luau day to make sure you have your flower outfit and your leave and be ready to celebrate on this last day of school we almost made will be there I hope you have a wonderful day 1313 we are community of leaders Anna and Elsa break the leaders with enough we work together one in remind to be the best meat pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all good morning and welcome to Alaska the school year I can't believe it's already time to end the school year I hope you enjoy this Jana minutes Dragon place frog. Go dragonfly Brown and breathe out boys and girls has been another gym and then it I hope you have a safe and healthy, and I can't wait to see you all in September hello boys and girls in Welcome Back to Wellness Wednesday the last Wellness Wednesday of the school year today I'm going to show you how to make a nice healthy snack that'll keep you cool during the hot summer days and nights today I'm going to show you how to make popsicles strawberry and mango popsicle you like other fruit you can try those as well but you're going to need is a popsicle maker I got these online you can find them possibly at Target or other stores if you don't have a popsicle maker you can use an ice cube tray and I don't want you eating the Ice Cube's cuz that's a choking hazard you can put them in a nice tall glass of water and refreshe that way for this activity you're going to need obviously strawberries you're going to need a peeled and pitted mango I cheated and I just bought the ones that are already cut up you're going to need a food processor or a blender I have my ninja you're going to need some honey and you're going to need some lime juice okay and let's see what happened we are back we are now going to add our ingredients to our blender I already added our one tablespoon of honey to our blender and our one teaspoon of lime juice you can see it down at the bottom I am now going to a my strawberries we are going to do this process twice for the mangoes and then once for the strawberries so I'm going to put my blender and remember when were used any Appliance we want adult supervision this may be a little loud so here we go see we have our strawberry puree blend I'm going to add that to a side cup put it to the side and then when do the same thing for the mango be right back okay boys and girls so I now have both of my puree I'm going to add to my ice cube tray and my popsicle maker I also have my mango strawberry and mango the strawberry was a lot easier the mango because it was a store-bought pre-cut one it was a lot harder so I understand why they probably wanted you to do all that work for yourself so if you buy a store-bought one when you mix it up it's going to be a lot thicker so maybe add a teaspoon I added a teaspoon of water at a time so I got the nice consistency but use a fresh one I'm assuming then you'll get a nice on the first try to add these to my popsicle maker I'm going to make one strawberry one one mango one and then I'm going to mix and match to get some nice colorful look popsicle I'll also add them to my ice cube tray for those of you who don't have the popsicle maker so that way you can add these directly to your water remember don't eat these out of the grey because it is a Hazard all right make sure you wash all your fruit before you use it nice and safe and get a little bit of that extra dirt off of it okay I'm going to put it with my molds for hours at least and let's see what happens in a little while see you soon okay boys and girls it's been about four hours since our Ice Cube and popsicle molds have been in the freezer let's see what we have okay so the one put inside the ice cube tray they're going to pop out like little Ice Cube's another softer than ice so if they're small enough like the ones I have then I wouldn't mind recommending them for you to put in your mouth and chew on it but if there anything bigger like the normal size ice cube trays you can just drop them straighten your water let it melt a little bit and you'll have a nice cool treat and flavorful water the popsicle and see which one I did hear this one is strawberry mango all right that great but let's try yummy the other one I did I think I did a straight mango one straighten mango one and I think I have a strawberry mango strawberry one strawberry one probably leave it in the mold for a little bit longer but I don't have the time to show you for the video so this is the strawberry one and I think this is a mango mango slush strawberry you have a nice cool treat to keep you cool in the summer boys and girls have a wonderful summer we will see you next year stay cool
